Federal Probe Targets Possible Defect in 1.2 Million of Tesla’s Most Popular Models
A suspension component detachment in 1.2 million Tesla Model 3 sedans and Model Y SUVs is under federal investigation after 156 complaints reported loss of steering control. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration initiated the probe following these reports of the defect affecting steering capability.

China’s car exports beat last year’s record with four months to go
