Anthropic built an inspection layer that lets enterprises block sensitive data before it reaches Claude

Anthropic launched inference hooks for Claude Enterprise that route every prompt through a customer's security server for inspection before Claude processes it. The system checks both prompts and tool calls, blocking sensitive data if the security server returns a deny verdict.
