Ford rehired 350 experienced engineers over three years after AI failed to resolve its quality control issues. The automaker improved its initial vehicle quality ranking from 10th place to ahead of mass market competitors, crediting veteran engineers' knowledge transfer to younger workers.

China’s car exports beat last year’s record with four months to go
